Small Account Sales Rep?

I have noticed openings for this position in my area several times - from the job description, it sounds like it could be mostly telemarketing/office work. Does anyone know anything about this type of position, and if the Sales Reps get to go out into the field for presentations and sales calls?
Any other feed back on sales for Kaiser? I have been in B2B sales for over 3 years and am thinking about changing industries. Thanks!

I am thinking of switching industries as well. I would love some general insight into the insurance sales world. What companies are good to work for? Overview of the job. How much money do you make? etc.

My question about selling health insurance is how will universal health insurance affect this industry?

Obama still thinks people should keep their employers insurance plan if they have one.

From what I understand Individuals without employer insurance will be able to purchase government plans through Insurance companies. For example, in North Carolina, Blue Cross Blue Shield manages government health plans.

By the time full Universal Government Plans effect everyone, you may be up for retirement!
