I heard if you work for any division at ADP this is the one to work in. Is that true? Do most of the successful Reps make around 100k in this division?

Fuck ADP! tHe company sucks. If you do make 100k, you won't the next year. They will make your quota ridiculous so they can fire you when you miss. They like high turnover and hate tenured reps making good money. Totally stupid business plan by ADP. Recruit top talent, train it, fire it so pharma and device can reap the rewards.

Major Accounts clearly is the place you want to be, but it all depends on the territory and product. TotalSource reps do well b/c their deals are big and referrals come frequently by MMDM's. Unfortunately, the selectivity of TS limits sales pissing everyone off. TotalSource is a great place to be if you have the respect of the Major DM's... Rarely do they cold call.
SBS sucks but is a great starting point... ADP products are complex and the tech can be a challenge for first year reps. Cold calling blows all around...

No way would I work for TotalSource or ADP you would be better off dependent on your location to open up your own PEO brokerage and sub out clients to the big PEO's and make the money yourself !! 50 clients later,,, I am baking about 100K of my own money and have nobody riding me on my number and I am making all of the money with little to no interaction with my clients

So a Major Account opening is something worth pusuing? I'm qualified for it but hesitant b/c I have heard all about the recent layoffs at your company.
I look at ADP as a 1-2 year stopover on the way to med. device - not a career. With your recent downsizing in mind, is a Major Acount position in a medium-sized city a stable job for a year or so?
Compensation listed says $76-100K year one. Is that realistic?
What's the car allowance?
Any answers are appreciated.

If you are in a good territory with a good rsm, a major accounts position is better than device imo. I know I worked in both capacities.

Depends in what region, on what team, and in what territory. Because you're dealing with insurances in TotalSource, it will vary by state. Some states will be great while right next door the market sucks.
Who the manager is is critical. Even more important is the Regional VP. If you are looking at the Midatlantic, forget about it. The RVP is a bitch.

I applied for TS a month ago, passed the phone screen but did not pass the online assessment. I have no idea what they're looking for, and the HR rep wouldn't tell me. I have since signed on with a med device company and took an almost exact same assessment, and answered it the same way and got the offer. It still bugs me though, about why I failed the ADP assessment. Is it because TS is looking for more of a relationship builder/farmer vs aggressive closer/hunter? (I answered in the scope of the latter).

Screw them. You're so much better off. You won't miss anything.
