No. They really could care less if you have a personal life... and maybe if you had a personal life you would be more productive? Just a thought...

If you work at Paychex you can keep a balance, but won't make great money. You make better money by working your tail off and at this point can barely juggle a life.

I worked at Paychex for almost 4 years and thought it had a great work/life balance. It's up to the rep to work smart -- I made Conference by putting in a reasonable workweek. It's definitely possible. The money isn't that great unless you make Circle, which is why I left. Plus, I wanted something a little different after working there that many years. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is starting out in sales. They have hands down the best training and of any of the companies I have worked for & they do care about about their employees. I had a great experience.

I think they could be more competitive with the compensation and that way could retain their employees better but overall I would still recommend it as a first sales position.
