Dont know if you're still thinking but...
Pros:
Great way to get feet wet in sales
Great way to build up confidence with cold calling
Looks good on your resume if you want to continue with sales
You can make good money if you hustle
Cons:
You get treated like crap by every one of your customers every single day.
Product isn't interesting...zzzzzzzzzzz
People couldn't care less about your product so more often then not you have to bend over on price
Pay and benes are sub par

Thanks for the info. Do you mean that the pay and benes are low compared to others in the industry or for b2b sales in general?

Konica pay and incentives are low for the industry. If you get in a good territory though, you can do pretty well. Look at the job as a stepping stone.

I agree with the above poster.
Pay/benes low for industry, but get a good territory and you can rock it.

Copier sales are rough righ now, brah. I interviewed with this company and none of the reps were batting anywhere near quota. Unless you can live on 30k a year...

It is going to be rough for the rest of the year at least. It is best viewed as a stepping stone to get sales exp at this point.
